RSIC-CWB®

The RSIC-CWB® is used for several different acoustic needs. The most common use is to decouple or separate two parallel framed walls such as chase walls. The RSIC-CWB® is available in two different load capacities the RSIC-CWB® has an Acoustical Design Load of 36 pounds for each isolator and the allowable sustained pull load is 240 pounds. While the RSIC-CWB-HD/DD® (Heavy Duty/Double Deflection) has an Acoustical Design Load of 144 pounds per each isolator and the allowable sustained pull load is 480 pounds. The RSIC-CWB-HD/DD® with Defection Control also has an Acoustical Design Load of 144 pound plus the added benefit of a built-in Deflection Control which limits the amount of total deflection allowed. Deflection Control is important in applications where seismic activity may occur. Please Note: These product are developed for "noise control" therefore the "Acoustical Design Load" should not be exceeded. The allowable pull loads include a 500% safety margin between ultimate and allowable loads.
